The Office Operations & Commercial Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our Abuja office.
This role combines operational excellence of our new office in Abuja with commercial support, enabling sales teams to focus on driving revenue.
Acting as a key liaison between Nigeria, London, and Dubai, the coordinator ensures alignment with S&P Global standards and best practices.
Responsibilities and Impact
Oversee daily office operations, including facilities, supplies, and vendor management, maintaining a professional and efficient workplace.
Act as the primary point of contact for office-related queries, addressing issues promptly and effectively.
Support HR with recruiting, onboarding, and employee management to ensure alignment with company standards.
Ensure adherence to local employment laws, health and safety regulations, and other compliance requirements.
Collaborate with global teams to implement consistent policies, procedures, and workflows.
Assist with budget management and ensure cost-effective office operations.
Organize and support meetings, events, and team activities.
Partner with EMEA Business Portfolio Managers to implement and govern sales processes, ensuring compliance while providing clients with essential information regarding the invoicing and payment processes.
Oversee commercial operations, including pipelines, contracts, and Salesforce activities.
Support Commercial Managers and Client Relationship directors with business planning and account management, including travel coordination to enhance client engagement.
What We’re Looking For
Basic Required Qualifications:
Fluency in both French and English is essential. The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages

Proven experience in office management or a similar role; familiarity in the energy and commodities sector preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant tools.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience in HR support, particularly recruiting and onboarding, is highly preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
