Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

• Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance, and support strategic financial decisions.
• The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the company’s financial health and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and company policies
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Handle payroll processing and statutory remittances (PAYE, VAT, etc.)
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
• Monitor expenses and recommend cost-saving strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–4 years accounting experience (real estate experience is an advantage)
• Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA or in view) is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
