Job Title: Head, Treasury Sales
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Responsibilities
Asset & Liability:
To craft, develop and drive the liability strategy of the bank
Attract institutional, corporate, and high-net-worth clients.
Generate, lead, and mobilize significant deposits across the liquidity matrix.
Drive funds mobilization and revenue growth.
Ensure proper funding of all the bank’s transactions, Credit and Projects
Ensure funding of all short-term gaps via money market avenue
Trade with all surplus funds to guarantee optimum return on investment
Develop strategies for the growth of the Bank and achievement of sales targets
Submit proposals to the Management to launch new Investment Funds and treasury Products & Services.
Review and support branches and units in identifying deposit opportunities and Cross selling of services across the bank.
Finance:
Monitoring and managingthe bank’s liquidity.
Analyzing and reporting variousscenarios and risks
Forecasting of medium and long-term funding and hedging requirements.
Daily cash management.
Debt facilities management.
Drive profitability of the unit, monitoring income generation
Oversee the management of the bank’s Investment Funds.
Maintaining a low weight average cost of funds
Relationship/ Stakeholder Management:
Supporting the Bank’s month-end process where necessary.
Liaisingwith management across the organization.
Maintain relationships with the bank’s corporate customers.
Authorize other groups, units and branches on acceptable deposit rates
Process Management:
Interest rate risk management and development of risk mitigation strategies.
Develop a policy & procedure manual for treasury & investment operations with adequate controls incorporated.
Implement measures for enhancing the processes relating to client profitability tracking etc.
Reporting:
Preparation of Board and monthly ALCO reports for management review.
Preparation of weekly gap analysis for planning and decision-making.
Review and prepare MIS reports related to treasury and investments required by the management.
Qualifications, Competency & Skills Required
Minimum of First Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Banking, or related discipline.
Master’s Degree would be an added advantage.
Relevant professional certifications such as CFA, CIS, ACA, ACCA, or relevant capital market certifications
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in treasury sales, investment banking, asset management, or financial markets, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Excellent communication skills
Sound understanding of accounting principles.
Strong track record of fund mobilization and managing large institutional clients.
Strong Knowledge of treasury Sales, Capital market and Operations.
Sound business development and client relationship management skills
Strong Leadership and team management ability.
Excellent skills in Deal structuring and negotiation
