We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Kitchen Assistant (Griller / Fryer)

Location: Ibadan Oyo,
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Objectives

• The Griller / Fryer is responsible for the efficient preparation of all grilled and fried products in line with company standards, ensuring product quality, food safety, minimal waste, and timely order fulfillment.
• The role also supports team coordination during peak periods and ensures strict adherence to operational processes.

Responsibilities
Production & Food Preparation:

• Grill and fry all menu items strictly according to approved recipes and SOPs.
• Ensure proper heat control and timing to avoid undercooking or overcooking.
• Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
• Monitor batch production during peak hours to ensure speed and efficiency.

Quality Control:

• Inspect all products before packaging to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Separate and report all burnt, undercooked, or contaminated products.
• Ensure no defective product is served to customers.

Food Safety & Hygiene:

• Maintain 100% compliance with food safety standards.
• Ensure proper handling of raw and cooked products to avoid cross-contamination.
• Keep workstation, tools, and environment clean at all times.
• Use protective gear where required (aprons, gloves, etc.).

Packaging & Order Fulfillment:

• Package products according to company standards for delivery or pickup.
• Ensure accuracy of orders before handing over.
• Work closely with the order-taking and dispatch team.

Inventory & Reporting:

• Conduct opening and closing stock counts accurately.
• Report shortages, wastage, and damages immediately.
• Ensure all stock data is properly recorded in the assigned system (Excel/Google Sheet).

Equipment Handling & Maintenance:

• Operate grilling and frying equipment safely and efficiently.
• Report any faulty equipment or maintenance issues immediately.
• Ensure proper cleaning and storage of all tools after use.

Team Support:

• Assist fryer/griller counterpart during bulk or rush orders.
• Participate actively in team briefings and daily pep talks.
• Maintain discipline and compliance with company culture.

Salary
N70,000 per month.
