Robeck Locks Limited established in 2001 out of a need to bring into the marketplace stylish lockset at affordable prices without compromise on quality, functionality and durability. We import and distribute a wide range of quality fashionable door lockset and accessories to the trade and construction companies.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cashier 

Location: Ipaja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are looking for a dependable and service-driven Cashier to join our Ipaja branch.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for handling transactions efficiently, maintaining accurate financial records, and delivering a smooth and professional checkout experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all payment transactions including cash, POS, and bank transfers
• Verify transactions and ensure correct pricing before processing payments
• Generate and issue receipts to customers promptly
• Maintain accurate daily sales records and transaction logs
• Reconcile cash, POS, and transfer payments at the end of each shift
• Detect and report any discrepancies, errors, or suspicious transactions
• Assist in coordinating with store and sales teams to ensure efficient operations
• Maintain proper custody of cash and ensure adherence to company financial controls
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and customer-friendly

Requirements

• 1–2 years experience in cashiering or similar financial handling role
• Experience in retail or fast-moving consumer environment is an advantage
• Ability to manage cash responsibly and follow strict procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Minimum Qualification:

• Minimum of OND (ND) in Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• High level of integrity and accountability
• Good customer service and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
• Basic knowledge of POS systems and digital payment methods.

Salary
N70,000 - N80,000 / Month.
