Job Title: Accounting & Finance Manager

Location: Iyana Ipaja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

• We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting & Finance Manager to lead our financial operations.
• This is a hands-on role focused on project-based accounting, job costing, and financial visibility across multiple entities.
• You’ll play a key role in connecting finance with operations, ensuring real-time insights into project profitability, cost control, and cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
• Manage cash flow and monitor project financial performance
• Handle accounts payable/receivable with project-level tracking in QuickBooks
• Oversee general ledger structure and intercompany accounting
• Manage project accounting, job costing, and WIP reporting
• Analyze project profitability and provide variance insights
• Process payroll, ensure compliance with tax and labor laws

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience (with 3+ years in project/construction accounting)
• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
• Strong experience in job costing, cost codes, and multi-entity accounting
• Solid knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management
• Understanding of Nigerian tax laws and payroll regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• ICAN / ACCA certification
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or real estate
• Familiarity with tools like Planner, Procore, or similar
• Experience optimizing QuickBooks for project accounting.
