RAAI is a registered organization with the Corporate Affairs commission here in Nigeria with a CAC / IT / NO 138018. The organization aimed to give her support across all sectors towards the affected populations within the BAY states to provide services towards their holistic development all round through capacity building, advocacy, Sensitization, Rapid assessment with inclusion of emergency response interventions in the areas towards early recovery to foster human development through SGBV programming, Sexual Reproductive health, Nutrition, WASH, General Food Distribution, CCCM, NFI, Shelter, HIV / AIDS Prevention & management, General health & hygiene, Education, women empowerment, livelihood, governance, free legal aid & human rights, registration and tracking of new arrivals who are displaced due to violence, conflict or man-made disasters such as Mainstreaming Peace Building in all round programming with many among others.

Job Title: Brand and Visibility Consultant
Locations: Abuja

Contract type: This is a consultancy contract. The post holder is expected to work 15 days in a month
Job Purpose
The Consultant will support the Renewed Women’s Voice and Leadership (RWVL) project with the development and implementation of brand and visibility strategies that reflect the project’s values and amplify its advocacy efforts. S/he will ensure that all visual, digital, and offline communications align with project guidelines and enhance project visibility.
S/hewill also manage content on the Feminist Hub, ensuring it is updated with key project materials and that subscribers and audience engagement metrics grow consistently. Additionally, the consultant will contribute to learning and knowledge management by archiving multimedia assets and supporting team capacity.
Reporting Line:
The Consultant reports to the RWVL Project Specialist, with matrix reporting to the Communications Coordinator.
Specific Responsibilities
Feminist Hub Content and Management:
Ensure that the Feminist Hub website aligns with RWVL project brand guidelines across visuals and messaging.
Ensure designs of visuals and infographics that tell feminine stories from the project
Regularly update the Hub with project SBCC materials such as publications, factsheets, banners, and e-fliers.
Archive and organize project multimedia content (e.g., documentaries, podcasts, photographs).
Create compelling communication materials (e.g., factsheets, infographics, e-fliers) reflecting RWVL stories and activities.
Develop and execute strategies to grow the Hub’s subscriber base and increase traffic through targeted social media campaigns.
Monitor, track, and report brand and visibility efforts related to the Feminist Hub.
Brand and Visibility Strategy:
Develop a cohesive brand identity and visual guideline for the RWVL project and ensure consistent application across all outputs.
Design and implement a comprehensive brand strategy to enhance visibility and public recognition of RWVL and ActionAid Nigeria.
Collaborate with key stakeholders including CBOs, LWROs, and the people we work with to ensure alignment in branding and communication.
Create strategies for visibility through community engagement, online forums, webinars, and public-facing events.
Coordinate or support the organization of visibility events, workshops, and other promotional activities.
Design and supervise the production of culturally relevant materials such as brochures, reports, and infographics.
Support the development of social media content (e.g., videos, blogs, impact stories).
Work closely with team members to ensure visibility efforts align with overall project goals.
Learning and Knowledge Management:
Develop simplified learning guides for project staff and partners.
Support the project’s photo documentation across all states.
Manage the photo repository via SharePoint or Google Drive and follow up with partners for regular updates.
Archive all project-related designs and documents systematically.
Collect and document publications from partners.
Facilitate ongoing capacity building for staff and partners on RWVL branding and visibility protocols.
Collaboration and Innovation:
Support the team in drafting donor reports and project proposals, ensuring alignment with communication objectives.
Stay updated with industry best practices in visibility, branding, and digital engagement.
Participate actively as a standing member of ActionAid Nigeria’s Communications Hub.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager, including support for other Women’s Rights projects.

First degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering or any related Field is essential.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years’ work experience as a Website Manager.
Proficiency in HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Access, mySQL and JavaScript.
Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to maximize traffic to the Hub
Experience managing websites in the Social Development Sector is desirable.
