We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Storekeeper

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

• The Store Keeper is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring proper storage, inventory control, and timely distribution of materials and products.
• The role requires accuracy, organization, and accountability to maintain efficient stock levels and support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes
• Properly store materials to ensure safety, accessibility, and preservation
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, including receipts, issues, and balances
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies
• Conduct regular stock counts and periodic inventory audits
• Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and documentation of all items in the store
• Issue materials and products as requested while maintaining proper authorization procedures
• Keep the store clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Coordinate with procurement and other departments to ensure efficient stock flow
• Prepare and submit inventory reports to management
• Prevent loss, damage, or theft of goods in the store
• Experience with inventory management software or ERP systems
• High level of integrity and accountability
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Problem-solving mindset.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Store Keeper, Warehouse Assistant, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices
• Proficiency in record-keeping and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Excel)
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse/store environment.

Salary
N75,000 - N100,000 monthly.
