Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Location: Amuwo Odofin, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a strategic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and manage all HR functions within the school. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in building a positive work culture, attracting and retaining high-quality staff, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and labour laws.
• The candidate must also be computer literate to efficiently manage HR systems, payroll, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and staff documentation
• Develop, implement, and monitor HR policies, procedures, and best practices
• Manage staff performance appraisals, disciplinary processes, and employee relations
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and school regulations
• Coordinate payroll, leave management, and staff records using HR software
• Organize training, professional development, and capacity-building programs
• Advise school management on HR planning, organizational structure, and workforce strategies

Requirements

• HND or BSc in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years HR experience, preferably in the education sector
• Computer literate with proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labour laws
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and organizational ability
• Ability to work strategically while handling day-to-day HR operations
