We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Farm Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos

Job Summary

• Adkan Services Nigeria Limited is seeking an experienced and results-driven Farm Manager to oversee agricultural operations, ensure productivity, and manage farm resources efficiently.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising farm activities, and ensuring optimal yield and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily farm operations (crop and/or livestock production)
• Develop and implement farming schedules and production plans
• Monitor crop growth, soil conditions, and livestock health
• Manage farm workers and allocate tasks effectively
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of farm equipment and machinery
• Oversee procurement and usage of seeds, fertilizers, feeds, and other inputs
• Implement pest, disease, and weed control measures
• Maintain accurate records of production, expenses, and inventory
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Prepare reports and provide updates to management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc./HND) in Agriculture, Agronomy, Animal Science, or related fields
• 4–6 years’ experience in farm management or agricultural operations
• Strong knowledge of crop production and/or livestock management
• Ability to manage farm operations and workforce effectively
• Good understanding of modern farming techniques and equipment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good communication and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing commercial or large-scale farms is very essential.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and mechanized farming
• Familiarity with agricultural regulations and best practices
• Certification in agriculture or farm management is an added advantage.

• Physical stamina and willingness to work extended hours when required
• High level of integrity and responsibility
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
