Job Title: Territory Development Executive

Location: Minna, Niger
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The Territory Development Executive, also known as the Territory Sales Executive, is responsible for developing the sales plan and sales strategy for the market, ensuring the attainment of company sales goals and profitability, in consultation with the Sales Head / GM Sales.
  • The individual manages sales of the company's products and services in defined geographical areas, builds customer relationships across the organisation, and serves as a bridge between customers and the sales team, making it easier to channel the company's products through the customer’s dealer network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements effective sales strategies aligned with company policies and targets.
  • Manages sales operations within a defined geographical area.
  • Achieves and exceeds sales targets and drives revenue growth (minimum of 10% year-over-year revenue growth).
  • Builds and maintains strong customer relationships and client intimacy at all levels (maintains a customer retention rate of 70% and increases the number of new clients by 10% each quarter).
  • Monitor market trends, identify business opportunities, competitor activities, and market threats.
  • Manage key accounts and develop detailed customer profiles for business expansion.
  • Plans and organises customer visits and sales activities effectively.
  • Communicates and networks effectively to coordinate between customers and internal sales teams.
  • Monitors performance, tracks sales progress, and ensures customer satisfaction (achieves a minimum of 80% customer feedback on every product provided).
  • Manages budgeting and cost control related to sales activities and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Prepares accurate sales, collections, and performance reports.
  • Collaborates with team members, motivates and guides staff where applicable (set a goal of a 20% increase in overall team revenue contribution).

Job Requirements

  • HND / BSC in a related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably within FMCG or a related industry.
  • Well-exposed to B2B Marketing and must have exposure to leading a team of 4–5 people.
  • Willingness to undertake excessive travelling in and around the assigned location.
  • Flexibility as per business needs; the role is transferable, and posting can be made anywhere in Nigeria.

Salary
N164,000 Net monthly.
