Job Description

• We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic School Principal to provide strategic leadership and oversee the academic and administrative operations of our Nursery, Primary, and Secondary school.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving academic excellence, staff performance, and overall school development in line with the institution’s vision and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and direction for all sections of the school (Nursery, Primary, and Secondary)
• Oversee curriculum planning, implementation, and continuous improvement
• Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and student performance
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff
• Develop and implement school policies, procedures, and academic programs
• Manage school operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and facilities
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and conducive learning environment
• Build and maintain relationships with parents, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
• Ensure compliance with educational regulations and standards
• Drive student discipline, welfare, and overall development
• Computer Savy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• 5–10 years of teaching experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development and school administration
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage staff and drive academic performance
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Location Requirement:

• Applicants must be based within Yobe State or its environs.
