We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Ogudu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and promoting the company’s recruitment services.
  • The role requires a proactive individual withstrong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills, particularly within the recruit mentor HR services space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within target industries and markets.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Understand client hiring needs and propose tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate terms of business and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure successful delivery of client requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, pipeline, and sales activities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and pipeline status.

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Number of new clients acquired.
  • Number of calls made weekly, monthly and yearly.
  • Revenue generated / sales targets achieved.
  • Client retention rate.
  • Conversion rate (leads to clients).
  • Number of roles/job orders secured.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in business development or sales, in a recruitment consulting firm.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating revenue.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and manage client relationships effectively.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
