Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious HIAB Driver responsible for operating lorry-mounted cranes and transporting heavy materials to designated locations.
• The ideal candidate will ensure efficient loading and unloading operations while adhering strictly to safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate HIAB (lorry-mounted) cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials safely.
• Drive heavy goods vehicles (HGV) to transport materials to and from project sites.
• Secure loads properly to prevent damage or accidents during transit.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck and crane equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance checks and report any mechanical faults promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inspections, and vehicle logs.
• Coordinate with site personnel to ensure efficient loading and offloading operations.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience operating a HIAB or similar lorry-mounted crane (compulsory).
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for heavy-duty vehicles.
• Strong understanding of crane operation and load safety procedure.
• Good knowledge of Lagos routes and traffic regulations.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
