We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• Responsible for all account payables to suppliers, in branch and other branches expenses.

Responsibilities

• Promptly collate and post all submitted invoices on pending payments to be made by the company to suppliers as stated on the invoices and duly signed supporting documents.
• Reconcile the sundry account monthly/quarterly and ensures it's zero balance at the end of the year.
• Make debits on concerned business units or its affiliates as stated on the sales invoice by generating a "Journal Voucher" /' Interbranch Journal Voucher' for the transaction.
• Collate all invoices payment documents promptly and sends same to the archive for proper filling.
• Assist in crosschecking Cashier's posting transaction in order to ensure all posting are done correctly.
• Seldomly assists in posting commission on sales on the ERP.

Requirements

• B.sc Degree in Accounting or any related discipline.
• Relevant postgraduate and or professional qualification would be an added advantage
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience performing similar responsibilities.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
• Competency in Ms Office Suites.
• Familiarity with data entry and analysis.

Benefits

• Salary: N300,000 – N350,000 per month.
• Transport Allowance, HMO, Leave Allowance and others.
