Job Summary

• An indigenous group of the Company located in the Anthony Village area of Lagos Mainland urgently seeks to employ a Facility Manager. This is an Immediate resumption role.

Job Summary

• We are seeking ahighly experienced, hands-on, and technically proficient Senior Facility Managerto oversee the complete management, maintenance, and operations of our properties. The ideal candidate must possess deep technical expertise in power infrastructure and building maintenance, combined with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• This is not a desk role; we require a practical, solution-driven professional with proven experience managing complex power systems and building fabric.

Key Responsibilities
Power & Technical Infrastructure Management:

• Design and manage robust power solutions, ensuring near 100% uptime across all our properties.
• Oversee all power systems, includingDiesel Generators, Gas Generators, Solar PV Systems, Inverters, UPS, and EKEDCinterface management.
• Take full ownership ofHVAC/Air Conditioning systems— maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive servicing, and performance optimization.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all critical assets.

Property Operations & Maintenance:

• Lead the day-to-day technical operations, maintenance, and appearance of buildings, common areas, and facilities.
• Conduct regular technical inspections and ensure timely repairs of plumbing, electrical, civil works, painting, and structural elements.
• Coordinate major and minor refurbishment works, painting cycles, and facility upgrades.

Vendor & Contractor Management:

• Identify, engage, supervise, and evaluate technical vendors, contractors, cleaners, security, and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts, monitor SLAs, and ensure strict compliance with quality, safety, and performance standards.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all facility-related matters.
• Manage user complaints professionally while maintaining excellent relationships.
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication and timely issue resolution.

Reporting, Compliance & Finance:

• Prepare detailed monthly technical and operational reports on asset performance, maintenance activities, power consumption, and expenses.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance history, warranties, service contracts, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage facility budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for operational efficiency.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 10 - 15 years post-qualification experience in Facility Management, with at least 5 years in a senior technical role.
• Bachelor’s degree inElectrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Estate Management, or Facilities Management. (A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications).
• Strong hands-on experiencein Power Management — Generators (Diesel & Gas), Solar Systems, EKEDC coordination, and Air Conditioning systems ismandatory.
• Proven track record in building maintenance, painting schedules, civil repairs, and facility refurbishment.
• Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
• Strong knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
