Job Title: Treasury Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Reports To: Chief Accountant

Job Summary

• The Treasury Officer is responsible for managing daily cash and bank transactions, ensuring accurate reconciliation of cash collections and bank settlements with the CoralPay payment gateway, and maintaining financial records in compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile daily cash and bank transactions against CoralPay payment gateway reports to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Monitor and verify all incoming payments processed through CoralPay across all active payment channels.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between CoralPay settlements and actual bank credits.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash and bank reconciliation reports for review by the chief accountant.
• Prepare journal vouchers for all cash and bank transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate with the CoralPay support team to follow up on pending, failed, or disputed transactions.
• Maintain organized records of reconciliation files, transaction receipts, and settlement reports.
• Share daily CoralPay settlement data with the Revenue Assurance Officer to cross-check collected amounts against billed revenue and highlight any collection gaps.
• Prepare a daily cash and bank position report summarizing total settlements received, outstanding items, and bank balances for review.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Accountant.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in cash handling or payment reconciliation.
• Experience with payment gateways (CoralPay or similar) is an advantage.
