• We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Logistics Officer to join our operations team in Lagos State.

Job Summary

• The Logistics Officer will be responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods, ensuring efficient distribution, and maintaining optimal inventory and delivery processes.
• The ideal candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of optimizing logistics operations to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily logistics and distribution operations.
• Plan and manage product transportation from warehouse to customers and distributors.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records.
• Liaise with warehouse, sales, and production teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Manage relationships with transport vendors and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare logistics reports and analyze data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Handle delivery issues, discrepancies, and customer complaints related to logistics.
• Optimize routes and delivery schedules to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years relevant experience in logistics or supply chain, preferably within FMCG.
• Strong understanding of distribution, inventory management, and transportation processes.
• Proficiency in logistics and inventory management systems.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
