Job Title: Procurement Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary 

• We are seeking an experienced and results-drivenProcurement Managerto lead and manage all procurement activities within the organization.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials and services, optimizing costs, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
• Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors and service providers.
• Oversee purchase orders, procurement processes, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain risks.
• Maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Logistics, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials to avoid delays in production or project delivery.
• Manage inventory levels in coordination with warehouse teams to reduce excess stock and shortages.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analysis, and performance metrics for management review.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant procurement experience, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, oil & gas, or steel-related sectors.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management skills.
• Good understanding of supply chain operations and inventory control.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
