We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Renewable Energy Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales of John Holt’s solar and renewable energy solutions.
  • The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and closing solar projects across residential, commercial, and industrial segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of John Holt solar and renewable energy products and solutions
  • Identify and develop new customers and markets
  • Prepare and deliver technical-commercial proposals for solar projects
  • Conduct site visits, basic load assessments, and client presentations
  • Work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure accurate solutions
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue growth
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders
  • Track leads, opportunities, and sales performance reports
  • Represent John Holt at industry events, meetings, and client engagements

Requirements & Qualifications

  • HND/BSc in Engineering, Business, or a related field with 3–5 years sales experience (solar/renewable energy preferred)
  • Strong understanding of solar PV systems and hybrid solutions
  • Proven ability to close deals and meet sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities
  • Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings

Added Advantage:

  • Experience selling C&I solar solutions
  • Existing network within the power, construction, or telecom sectors
