Job Description

• A Company Driver is responsible for transporting goods, materials, and personnel safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the vehicle in good condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Transporting Staff and Goods: Safely transport company employees, products, and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the vehicle, ensuring it is clean, fueled, and in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Route Planning: Utilize navigation systems to plan efficient routes, adjusting for traffic and road conditions to ensure timely deliveries.
• Record Keeping: Maintain a travel log to document work hours, travel time, and locations visited. Report mileage and expenses accurately.
• Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with clients and staff during pickups and deliveries, representing the company positively.
• Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving, ensuring safety and legal compliance.

Additional Responsibilities

• Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures are followed.
• Handling Documentation: Ensure that all necessary documentation for deliveries is completed accurately.

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid Driver’s License: A clean and valid driver’s license is essential for operating company vehicles.
• Driving Experience: Proven experience as a driver, with the ability to operate various types of vehicles, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Knowledge of Road Systems: Excellent knowledge of local and national road systems, along with the ability to use navigation tools effectively.
• Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure timely completion of transportation duties.
• Communication Skills: Good communication skills to coordinate with dispatchers and interact with clients.

Salary
N100,000 - N200,000 monthly.
