Medlight Pharmacy is a community pharmacy located at lusada igbesa road ogun state and are recruiting currently.

Job Title: Locum Pharmacist

Location: Ogun 
Employment Type: Part-time
Working Hours:10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (4 days per week)
Work Location: In person

Job Summary

• We are seeking a qualified and reliable Locum Pharmacist to provide professional pharmaceutical services on a part-time basis.
• The ideal candidate will ensure safe, effective, and legal dispensing of medications while delivering excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription medications in line with legal and professional standards
• Provide expert advice on the safe use of medicines to patients and healthcare professionals
• Review prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage, and potential drug interactions
• Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) regulations and ethical standards
• Maintain proper record-keeping and documentation of controlled substances
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and lifestyle modifications
• Supervise pharmacy staff and support their professional development
• Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage of medications
• Handle patient queries and provide over-the-counter recommendations
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized pharmacy environment

Requirements

• Valid registration with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN)
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practices and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of professionalism and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Regulatory Requirement: Must be registered with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN).
