Job Summary

• The Solutions Architect Associate supports strategic sales engagements, drives thought leadership across functions, and contributes to Equinix’s global sales strategy to accelerate revenue growth in an assigned territory.
• This role provides technology and solution-based guidance, bridging network, data center, and cloud/IT infrastructure into repeatable offers.
• Key focus areas include strategic sales engagements, development of offers, repeatable solutions, and use cases across the five sales verticals within the Equinix Ecosystem: Network, Financial, Cloud, Content/Digital Media, and Enterprise.

Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Support:

• Assist in strategic sales engagements by applying professional concepts and guidelines
• Support development of solution proposals aligned with customer requirements.

Research and Development:

• Apply knowledge and problem-solving techniques to define and resolve technical challenges.

Subject Matter Expertise:

• Develop foundational expertise in network architecture, interconnection, and cloud integration.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Build strong internal relationships and exchange technical information with colleagues, supervisors, and project leaders.

Technology and Innovation Insights:

• Stay informed on emerging technologies in networking, cloud, and data center infrastructure.

Solution Development:

• Contribute to creating repeatable solutions and use cases for customer deployments.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields (or equivalent work experience)
• Experience: Proven years in networking, cloud, or IT infrastructure roles
• Certifications (Required): CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
• Network Design Certification (optional but preferred)
• Cloud Certifications (Optional but Preferred)
• AWS Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
• Strong understanding of IP networking, routing, switching, and interconnection principles
• Familiarity with cloud architectures and hybrid IT environments is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
