Job Title: Building Technologist

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Objective

• The Building Technologist will be responsible for efficient planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects while maintaining high quality standards and compliance with relevant regulations.
• The role focuses on supporting timely project delivery, optimizing cost and resource use, enforcing health and safety practices, and providing practical technical solutions to construction challenges.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and building plans.
• Assist in the planning and coordination of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Supervise construction activities on site to ensure adherence to design, quality standards, and timelines.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor workmanship to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Identify technical issues on site and provide practical solutions to prevent delays.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including site reports, and material records.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Building Technology in Construction.
• 5 years of post-NYSC experience in construction project supervision.
• Strong knowledge of building construction processes, materials and regulations.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 per month.
