Job Title: Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist

Job Summary

• Are you a detail-oriented and quality-driven healthcare professional with a passion for accurate diagnostics and patient care support?
• Our reputable hospital is seeking a smart, proactive, and highly organized Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform essential laboratory investigations, ensure accurate test results, and uphold the highest standards of laboratory quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
Perform laboratory investigations in areas such as:

• Hematology
• Microbiology
• Chemical Pathology
• Histopathology
• Serology
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of all test results before release.
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment specific to specialized testing.
• Adhere strictly to quality control and quality assurance protocols.
• Maintain proper documentation and reporting standards.
• Monitor reagent usage and ensure availability of critical supplies.
• Collaborate with clinicians, especially in fertility and gynecology units, to support diagnosis and treatment.
• Participate in laboratory audits and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS).
• Valid practicing license.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience, with proven exposure to:
  • Hormonal assays
  • Histology
  • Pap smear analysis
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and specialized healthcare environment.
