Associated Port and Marine Development Company Limited, is an ISO accredited, fully licensed, well-structured shipping agency. Operating since 2005, the company offers a complete range of shipping and logistics services required by vessel owners and charterers for their ships operating in Nigerian waters.

The company has its head office in Lagos, and branch offices in Port Harcourt, Warri, Calabar and Onne and a European representative office based in the UK.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Executive Driver

Location: Apapa, Lagos

Job Summary

• APMDC is seeking to engage a highly disciplined, professional, and safety-conscious executive driverto support executive movement and operational logistics.
• This role requires a candidate with proven driving expertise, strong knowledge of Lagos routes, and a high level of discretion and reliability.

Role Overview

• The executive driver will be responsible for providing safe, efficient, and timely transportation for management and official assignments while ensuring proper vehicle maintenance and adherence to all road safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transportation for executives and authorized personnel
• Ensure strict adherence to traffic laws and safety standards
• Maintain assigned vehicle(s) in optimal working condition at all times
• Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tires, cleanliness, etc.)
• Plan routes effectively to avoid delays and ensure punctuality
• Handle logistics errands and official assignments as directed
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Keep accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance, and fuel consumption
• Promptly report any faults, incidents, or irregularities.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of SSCE / OND qualification (a higher qualification is an advantage)
• Valid Driver’s License and NIN
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as an executive or corporate driver
• Strong familiarity with Lagos road network, traffic patterns, and alternate routes
• Clean driving record with no history of major traffic violations.

• Excellent driving and road safety skills
• Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and punctuality
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.

Preferred Profile:

• Experience driving for senior executives or corporate organizations
• Knowledge of defensive driving techniques
• Well-groomed, courteous, and presentable
• Flexible and available for extended working hours when required.
