Otsuka Nigeria Nutraceutical Company (ONNC) is a fast moving FMCG, Nutraceutical, phamaceutical and chemical industry, located in sagamu, interchange, Ogun state Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Injection Mould Operator

Location: Sagamu, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Overview

• The Injection Mould Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection moulding machines used for plastic component production.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in plastics manufacturing or packaging component production in a high-volume setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate injection moulding machines and ensure they run efficiently and safely.
• Monitor and control machine parameters during production to maintain quality.
• Conduct routine checks on moulds, materials, and finished components.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and assist with mould changeovers.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Document production output, downtimes, and maintenance activities.
• Communicate any equipment or quality issues to supervisors or maintenance team.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the production area.
• Report equipment malfunctions or deviations from quality standards, mechanical faults and coordinate with maintenance teams for timely repairs.
• Assist in changeovers and line clearance as required.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of OND in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience operating injection moulding machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of moulding processes, machine settings, and quality control.
• Ability to read technical manuals and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays if required.
• Strong team spirit and commitment to safety and efficiency.
• Able to operate Microsoft office.
