Job Title: Project Engineer / RPS Lead

About the role
As a Project Engineer/RPS Lead within Reckitt's vibrant team, you will manage the technical execution, planning, monitoring, and design aspects of our engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and other standard requirements. Responsible for the engineering and technical structure/ process needed to complete a project.
Work to plan the project, establish project criteria, coordinate project reviews, and ensure the proper implementation of project elements.
Responsibilities
Complete analysis and documentation of the feasibility phase of a project.
Lead a project team in the capability and implementation phases of a project. Assigning tasks within the team, monitoring progress and performance, and reacting to issues arising so as to deliver on the plan
Establish detailed project plans defining milestones, timescales, and resource requirements for the successful execution of a project.
To assist the SDM or Project Manager in target setting and performance assessment of project team members, recommend training/personal development actions as appropriate to ensure personal delivery and development.
To alert SDM or Project Manager to any potential risks to budgets, quality of solution, and timescales for delivery, and propose solutions.
To fulfil the role of ‘business partner’, delivering business analysis and advice within a discrete area of Supply Chain, providing portfolio management and a point of reference for IT-related matters
Lead and Drive HSE Compliance across all Project, Operational, and Engineering Tasks in the Agbara Site.
Implement all Project Tasks in compliance with applicable HSE Global Standards (Excavation, Scaffolding & MEWP, Machine Guarding, Work at Height, PTW, Hot work, Confined Space entry, Pressure systems, Compressed Gas Systems, Lifting Equipment and Operations, Process Safety, Contractor, Construction, Electrical Safety & Testing, Asbestos Management, HazMat, etc.).
Be trained and educate your teams on all applicable HSE Standards and Procedures on site.
Lead and support the coordination of site HSE activities to ensure:
i. Compliance with relevant HSE legal/regulatory requirements
ii. Compliance with Corporate HSE Policy, Standards, and performance requirements
iii. As far as is reasonably practicable, continual improvement in H&S performance
Participate in Risk Assessment Engagement and Lead Reckitt Safety Observations/GEMBA on-site.
Requirements
The experience we're looking for:
3+years’ experience in an IT development role with experience of either a service delivery role or business analysis role (maybe project-based)
1+year Project Planning experience
Requirements analysis
Design skills
Project management
Manufacturing methods and procedures
Process improvement
Technical understanding
Documentation skills
Safety management.
