Job Title: Fullstack Web Developer

Job Summary
We're looking for a versatile Full-Stack Web Developer who can own end-to-end development, from conceptualizing user interfaces to building robust backend systems, ensuring seamless end-to-end application development.
In this role, you'll wear multiple hats, collaborate closely with our founders, designers, other developers, clients and have direct influence on our tech stack and roadmap; delivering high-quality, scalable web solutions that drive users’ engagement and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop user interactions on websites, ensuring responsive, accessible, and performant interfaces across devices also focusing on intuitive frontend experiences using modern frameworks.
Build and maintain servers, databases, and backend APIs to support website functionality and data management.
Develop scalable and responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
Implement server-side logic with technologies such as Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or Ruby on Rails, integrating with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn wireframes and designs into functional code, participating in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) from ideation to planning to deployment, using agile methodologies like Scrum.
Debug, test, and optimize code for performance, security, and scalability, including writing clean, testable code with version control (Git) and conducting code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and contributes to improving development processes and best practices.
Integrate third-party APIs, databases (e.g., PostgreSQL or MongoDB), and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Vercel) to enhance application features, such as payment gateways or analytics tools; creating seamless user experiences.
Implement security best practices, including authentication (e.g., JWT/OAuth), data encryption, and compliance with standards like GDPR.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for speed and reliability in a fast-paced startup environment.
Required Qualifications
Experience with database design and management (SQL and NoSQL databases) and basic DevOps (CI/CD, Docker).
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment tools (e.g., Docker, AWS, Heroku).
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, with creativity for turning complex requirements into elegant solutions and the ability to work in an agile environment.
2+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development or similar role.
Strong proficiency in frontend technologies like JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and at least one modern frontend framework (React, Vue, or Angular).
Strong backend skills with backend languages and frameworks like Node.js/Express, Python/Django, or Ruby, Java/Spring, including RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and tools like GitHub, Jira, or Figma.
Passion for startups: ability to adapt quickly, communicates effectively, and thrives in ambiguity.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, or serverless architectures.
Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress) and performance optimization.
Prior work in [relevant industry, e.g., SaaS or fintech].
Contributions to open-source projects or a personal portfolio showcasing full-stack work.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
Contributions to open-source projects or a personal portfolio showcasing full-stack projects.
Knowledge of security best practices (e.g., OAuth, encryption) and performance optimization.
