Job Title: Principal Quality Control Inspector (Mechanical - Pressure Equipment, Piping, Structure, Welding, NDT)

Description

• To perform quality control inspections for all mechanical (pressure Equipment, Piping, Structure, Welding, NDT) activities on behalf of the company in all Project sites in accordance with Contract approved project management procedures; ensuring quality, schedule, and budget standards are met in a controlled, transparent, and auditable manner in collaboration with the EPC Contractor to ensure that the EPC Contractor in delivering high-quality outcomes.

Requirements

• ND, HND Bachelors or Masters Degree in Related Field or equivalent and professional registration in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical/Materials Engineering, or a related field covering both disciplines.
• Professional memberships (e.g., MNSE, MNIMech, MNATE, COREN) are an advantage.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in quality control inspection, with hands-on inspection experience in piping, mechanical static, welding and NDT activities, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Able to review weld map, NDE report, PWHT report etc. and its tracking mechanism.
• Have knowledge of pressure regulator, control valve and other in-line instrument installation
• Have knowledge of calibration of equipment and measuring requirements
• Should be able to use computer and programs (email, word processing and spreadsheets as a minimum) for general business applications.
