Job Summary

• Our client is seeking a highly experienced General Manager (GM) to strengthen their executive leadership team.

Leadership & Strategic Capabilities:

• Acritical thinkerandstrategistwho understands the full business landscape and the implications of decisions.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability torun the entire operationsof the company with minimal supervision.
• Must possess excellentpeople management,communication, anddecision‑makingskills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and implementsuccession planningacross all departments.

Operational Excellence:

• Hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and able to identify risks or operational gaps across sites and resolve them promptly.
• Must ensure thatno operational burden escalates to the MD; the MD should neither be seen nor heard in day‑to‑day operations once the candidate assumes the role.
• Capable of receiving instructions once and delivering results without the need for follow‑up.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple sites and teams effectively.

Mindset & Behavioural Expectations:

• Must have theright attitude, strong work ethic, and a deep sense of ownership.
• Should be dependable, disciplined, and committed to delivering on responsibilities.
• Must understand the business quickly and demonstrate sound judgment in all decisions.

Transition & Reporting:

• The MD will provide guidance for the firstone year, after which the candidate is expected to operate independently.
• The individual must be capable of representing the company at the highest level and ensuring seamless operations.

Experience & Professional Background

• Minimum of 20 years of experience in senior leadership roles within construction, engineering, or related operational environments.
• Proven track record of leading large teams, managing complex operations, and driving organizational performance.

Salary
N2,000,000 per month.
