We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Production Executive (Organic Soap & Cosmetics)

Location: Abeokuta, Aiyetoro - Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

• The Production Executive will lead the formulation, production, and quality control of organic bar soaps and cosmetic products.
• This role requires a technically competent and hands-on professional with proven experience in soap making and cosmetic production, who can manage end-to-end production processes within a farm-based manufacturing environment.
• The ideal candidate must be willing to reside within the farm settlement and contribute to building a scalable, high-quality organic production system aligned with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
Production Management:

• Oversee daily production of organic bar soaps and cosmetic products
• Plan and execute production schedules to meet demand and targets
• Ensure efficient utilization of raw materials and production resources

Formulation & Product Development:

• Develop, refine, and standardize formulations for soaps and other cosmetic products
• Ensure consistency in product quality, texture, fragrance, and performance
• Innovate new organic product lines using farm-derived inputs where applicable

Quality Control & Compliance:

• Implement and monitor quality assurance processes across all production stages
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and safety standards for cosmetic products
• Maintain proper documentation for production batches and quality checks

Equipment & Process Optimization:

• Supervise the use and maintenance of production equipment
• Work with engineering/maintenance teams to minimize downtime
• Continuously improve production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Inventory & Raw Material Management:

• Monitor stock levels of raw materials and finished goods
• Ensure proper storage and handling of organic ingredients
• Reduce wastage and optimize material usage

Team Supervision & Training:

• Supervise production staff and assign daily tasks
• Train team members on production techniques, hygiene, and safety standards
• Enforce discipline and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Reporting & Coordination:

• Provide regular production reports to management
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and operations teams for seamless workflow

Key Requirements
Experience:

• Minimum of 4–6 years experience in:
  • Bar soap production (essential)
  • Cosmetic product manufacturing (lotions, creams, oils, etc.)
• Experience in organic or natural product production is a strong advantage

Qualifications

• HND / B.Sc. in:
  • Industrial Chemistry
  • Chemical Engineering
• Relevant certifications in cosmetic production or formulation are an added advantage

Special Requirement:

• Must be willing to reside within the farm settlement

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of:
  • Soap-making processes (cold process, hot process, etc.)
  • Cosmetic formulation and ingredient interactions
• Understanding of quality control standards in cosmetic production
• Ability to manage production equipment and processes.
