Job Title: Associate Project Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Associate Project Engineer to support the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects.
• The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing engineering projects
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and stakeholders
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality standards are met
• Prepare project reports, documentation, and updates
• Ensure compliance with safety (HSE) and regulatory standards
• Support troubleshooting and resolve technical issues on-site
• Track materials, resources, and project costs

Requirements

• B.Eng / HND in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
• Proven experience in project or site engineering
• Ability to work on-site and travel when required
• Good knowledge of project management processes
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage).
