Job Summary

• The incumbent will support AYP programming in the state, including support to the hubs and cool girls app.
• The Program Coordinator for the STEM Empowerment Hub is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing all activities and initiatives aimed at young people at the AYP hub.
• This role involves creating a supportive and enriching environment for AYP to explore and excel in their chosen vocational fields through a variety of programs and activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and coordination support to the AYP empowerment programs in Lagos state, including working closely with the OVC and gender teams.
• Ensure seamless running of the hub with prompt escalation of issues, safeguarding beneficiaries, visitors, and providers, and coordinating regular cleanliness and availability of necessary amenities.
• Be responsible for all assets and records at the AYP hub.
• Support the quarterly orientation and onboarding of new enrollees at AYP platforms, with documentation of the same
• Ensure the maintenance of rolling enrollment of beneficiaries using fliers, banners, social media posts, and the use of the pre-enrollment form.
• Ensure minimum stock of training materials, including curriculum, orientation packages
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• Health-related degree with administrative, management, or HR experience as a plus
• Experience working with young persons
• At least 2 years post-NYSC work experience with at least 1 year of supervisory, management, or leadership responsibilities.
• Excellent grasp of AYP issues and current literature in providing support to AYP
• Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to foresee problems and initiate appropriate action.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications and remote conferencing software.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English. The ability to speak a local language will be an added advantage.
