About the job

• We’re looking for a Creative Communications Officer who can bring our work to life in a way that is clear, compelling, and impossible to ignore.
• This role is for someone who can think, create, and execute, someone who understands that storytelling is not just content, but impact.
• This is a full-time, on-site role located in Abuja.
• The position involves managing media relations, developing and implementing strategic communications plans, and effectively conveying key messages through writing.
• The Creative Communications Officer will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the organisation's public image and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.

Role Description

• Translate our programmes and impact into engaging digital stories across platforms
• Design high-quality visuals (graphics, short videos, reports, campaign assets)
• Develop and execute creative communication strategies for projects and partnerships
• Document field activities, capturing real stories from communities and beneficiaries
• Manage and grow our digital presence (social media, newsletters, website)
• Work closely with programme teams to showcase outcomes, not just activities
• Experiment with new formats and ideas to tell our story better

What We Are Looking For

• Strong design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools)
• Ability to create both visual and written content
• A good eye for detail, storytelling, and brand consistency
• Someone who takes initiative and can work with minimal supervision
• Interest in education, youth development, and social impact
• Experience in development, media, or digital communications is a plus
