Job Title: Salon Manager (Growth & Operation)

Role Overview

• We are seeking a growth-driven Salon Manager to lead operations and expand the business at Braids & Fades. This role is focused on two core outcomes: staff growth and customer growth.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruiting top talent, managing and retaining staff, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience that drives repeat business and walk-in traffic.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead aggressive recruitment efforts to onboard skilled professionals including barbers, hairstylists, braiders, pedicurists, massage therapists, and nail technicians, ensuring continuous growth in service capacity.
• Drive customer growth by improving walk-in traffic, increasing repeat visits, and ensuring a consistently excellent client experience across all service touchpoints.
• Manage, supervise, and support all staff, with a strong focus on retention, performance, and accountability, especially for team members recruited directly by you.
• Oversee daily salon operations, ensuring compliance with salon rules, professional standards, and employee obligations including lease/payment requirements before resumption.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and overall salon presentation by supervising daily cleaning routines and enforcing sanitation protocols.
• Monitor and manage salon assets, equipment, and facilities, ensuring proper usage, timely reporting of damages, and coordination of minor repairs when needed.
• Manage and grow the salon’s online presence, especially Instagram, by posting engaging content and converting online engagement into actual paying customers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in at least one salon service area (hairdressing, barbering, braiding, nail technology, pedicure, or massage therapy)
• Must reside in Egbeda or nearby axis (mandatory)
• Must demonstrate strong expertise in at least one specialization
• Proven experience working in a salon environment is required (with reference)
• Prior experience as a Salon Manager or Supervisor in a reputable salon in Lagos is a strong advantage
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, manage, and retain staff
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a target-driven, growth-focused environment
• Basic knowledge of social media marketing (especially Instagram) is a pluse.

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Salary – N75,000
• Commissions on staff retention performance
• Opportunity to earn additional income through product sales within the salon.
