Job Title: Experienced Real Estate Lawyer

Location: Lagos

Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role for an Experienced Real Estate Lawyer located in Lekki, Lagos.
• The role involves managing real estate transactions, drafting and reviewing legal documents, providing expert legal advice on property laws, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• The lawyer will collaborate with internal teams to oversee contracts, title verifications, and property transactions, ensuring legal and contractual soundness across all processes.
• Additionally, the role includes representing the company in legal proceedings related to real estate and managing client relationships effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and completion of Nigerian Law School (BL); membership in relevant professional bodies is an advantage
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate law or a related field
• Proven record of managing real estate legal matters from preparation to completion.
• Strong knowledge of Property Law, Contract Law, and Corporate Law
• Expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documents
• Experience in title documentation, property registration, and conducting title searches
• Ability to provide comprehensive legal advice on regulatory compliance and risk mitigation
• Keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in legal research and familiarity with real estate laws in Nigeria.
