Role Overview

• We are seeking a highly creative and versatile Brand & Graphics Design Lead to drive the visual expression of Ruebits across all platforms and initiatives.
• This role goes beyond static design,it requires someone who can translate ideas into compelling visuals, create engaging motion content, and leverage modern tools including AI-assisted design to enhance creativity and efficiency.
• The ideal candidate combines strong natural design instincts with evolving digital skills, ensuring that Ruebits’ visuals are not only beautiful, but meaningful, consistent, and impactful.
• This position begins as a mission-driven volunteer role, with the opportunity to grow into a long-term creative leadership position as the organization expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the visual direction of Ruebits across programs, campaigns, and digital platforms
• Design graphics for social media, events, outreach programs, presentations, and campaigns
• Create motion graphics, simple animations, and short-form visual content to enhance storytelling
• Translate ideas and concepts into clear, engaging, and child-friendly visuals
• Develop and maintain brand identity guidelines (colors, typography, style, tone)
• Create reusable design templates for consistency across the team
• Collaborate with communications, marketing, and social media teams on campaigns
• Support visual needs for initiatives such as One Child One Bible, Clubhouse sessions, and mentorship programs

Candidate Profile
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in:

• Graphic Design
• Visual Communication
• Creative Media
• Digital Design

Technical Competency & Skills:

• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Canva, or similar
• Ability to create motion graphics and basic animations
• Familiarity with AI-powered design tools (e.g., for concept generation, image creation, or workflow efficiency)
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and composition
• Ability to adapt designs for different platforms (social, print, presentations)
