Job Title: Graduate Accountant

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Graduate Accountant to join our finance department and support our financial operations.
• The Graduate Accountant will assist in the day-to-day management of the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy in reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
• This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate to build a career in corporate finance within a structured and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
• Assist with payroll administration and ensures statutory deductions are recorded.
• Monitor daily cash flow and perform bank reconciliations.
• Maintain an organized filing system for all financial documents and receipts.

Requirements

• BSc / HND qualification in Accounting or Finance
• Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
• Currently undergoing or completed NYSC.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.
