Job Title: Baker

Location: GRA Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (Onsite)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a talented Baker to prepare fresh bread, pastries, and baked goods daily.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in baking techniques, dough preparation, and oven handling, with attention to detail in quality and presentation.
• You should be passionate about baking and able to maintain consistency in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake bread products according to standardized recipes and production schedules.
• Baking of baguette bread, wheat bread, sour dough bread e.t.c
• Mix, Knead dough manually or using machines,ferment,proof and bake dough to achieve consistent quality.
• Monitor baking temperature,timing and product appearance.
• Ensure freshness, taste, and presentation meet company standards
• Measure ingredients accurately and follow portion control guidelines.
• Work closely with kitchen and production teams to meet daily demand.
• Marinating cleanliness and organization of baking stations
• Assist in developing new bread varieties when required

Requirements

• Culinary or baking certification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience as a baker , preferably bread focus
• Strong knowledge of bread making techniques and fermentation processes
• Attention to detail and consistency in product quality
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Experience in restaurant or commercial bakery production.
• Knowledge bribing baking just bread
• Knowledge of different bread styles and dough handling.
