Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a background in the interior design, furniture, or showroom industry.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and ensuring accurate reporting to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including sales, purchases, expenses, and inventory
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
• Track inventory costs and support stock valuation for showroom items
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Support budgeting and financial planning activities
• Monitor financial transactions and identify discrepancies
• Collaborate with the sales and operations team to ensure accurate revenue reporting
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal controls

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years’ accounting experience, preferably in interior design, furniture, or showroom environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with inventory accounting is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary
N350,000 per month.
