We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resource Specialist

Location: Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • This role will focus on talent strategy, workforce planning, performance management, and reward frameworks, ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains high-performing talent.

Key Responsibilities
Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning:

  • Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies for critical roles, with emphasis on market mapping, headhunting, and proactive talent pipelining
  • Partner with leadership to drive workforce planning and organizational design
  • Strengthen employer branding to position the organization as an employer of choice

Performance & Talent Management:

  • Lead the design and implementation of a robust performance management framework aligned with business objectives
  • Drive talent reviews, succession planning, and career pathing initiatives
  • Embed a culture of accountability, continuous feedback, and high performance

Compensation & Rewards:

  • Support the development of competitive and equitable compensation structures
  • Provide insights on reward strategies to drive attraction, retention, and performance

Employee Experience & Engagement:

  • Advise leadership on employee engagement and retention strategies
  • Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters to maintain a productive work environment

HR Governance & Insights:

  • Ensure alignment with labour laws and internal policies at a strategic level
  • Leverage HR data and analytics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience, with strong focus on talent strategy, performance management, and reward frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience in headhunting and building talent pipelines
  • Strong business acumen and stakeholder management capability.
