Role Overview

• We are seeking an experienced HR Officer to join our Plant HR team in Kaduna. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing human resources operations at the plant, ensuring compliance with labor laws, fostering employee engagement, and supporting organizational growth in the mining sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations at the plant.
• Implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with corporate standards.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning for plant operations.
• Handle employee relations, grievance management, and disciplinary processes.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, health & safety regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate training and development programs to enhance workforce skills.
• Maintain accurate HR records and prepare periodic reports for management.
• Support performance management and appraisal processes.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives to build a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 6–8 years of HR experience, preferably in the mining or heavy industry sector.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage HR operations in a plant/industrial setting.
• Willingness to relocate to Kaduna is mandatory.
