We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Lift / Elevator Technician

Location: Abuja

Description

• We are seeking a qualified and experienced Lift/Elevator Installer and Maintenance Officer to join our team in Abuja, Nigeria.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of lift and elevator systems.
• This role requires a combination of technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, as well as a commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of Lift/Elevator Systems
• Maintenance and Servicing of elevators
• Troubleshooting and Repairs of elevators
• Safety Compliance and Inspections
• Modernization and Upgrades
• Documentation and Reporting
• Customer Relations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Diploma or certification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in installing and maintaining lift/elevator systems.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems in lift/elevator operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to lift installation and maintenance.

• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring that installations and repairs are completed to the
• highest standards.
• Safety Awareness: Strong commitment to following safety procedures and

• clients and team members.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including
• lifting heavy objects and working in confined spaces.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Must hold a valid electrician or mechanical technician license.
• Certification in lift/elevator installation and maintenance is highly desirable.

Working Conditions:

• Must be available to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites across Accra and surrounding regions.
• Ability to respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
