Job Title: Escort Driver

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Escort Driver is responsible for safely transporting personnel, clients, or high-value assets while providing security support during movement.
• The role requires defensive driving skills, situational awareness, and strict adherence to security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive assigned vehicles to escort clients, staff, or assets to designated locations
• Maintain safe driving practices at all times, especially in high-risk or sensitive movements
• Plan and follow approved routes while remaining alert to potential threats

• Provide close escort for VIPs, executives, or sensitive deliveries
• Maintain constant communication with the control room or operations team
• Assist in risk assessment during transit and respond appropriately to security situations

• Ensure assigned vehicle is clean, functional, and properly maintained
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections (fuel level, tires, brakes, lights, etc.)
• Report faults or maintenance needs promptly

• Follow company security protocols and standard operating procedures
• Maintain accurate trip logs and incident reports
• Adhere to traffic laws and organizational policies

• React quickly and professionally to emergencies or security threats
• Apply defensive driving techniques when necessary
• Escalate incidents to the appropriate authority immediately

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE / OND qualification
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• 2–5 years proven experience in professional driving, preferably in security or escort services
• Defensive driving certification (added advantage)
• Security training is an advantage

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong driving and navigation skills
• High level of alertness and situational awareness
• Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns
• Good communication skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Discipline, reliability, and professionalism.

Salary
N130,000 monthly plus Bonus and other benefits.
