Job Responsibilities
Manage, grow, and optimise the company's presence on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Google My Business
Develop and execute platform-specific growth strategies with clear KPIs for each channel
Monitor trends, algorithm changes, and competitor activity and adapt strategies accordingly
Grow followers, reach, and engagement organically through consistent high-quality content
Monitor and respond promptly to all DMs, comments, and enquiries across platforms, converting leads and maintaining brand voice
Schedule and publish content using tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, or equivalent
Develop a monthly content calendar covering all platforms with themes aligned to business goals, seasonal events, trends, and the Nigerian energy landscape
Produce original, engaging content formats including: reels, talking-head videos, drone footage edits, carousels, infographics, testimonials, educational posts, behind-the-scenes clips, product demos, and memes
Write high-converting copy with strong hooks, compelling body text, and clear calls to action for every post
Translate solar energy concepts (inverters, battery storage, off-grid systems, ROI, load calculations) into simple, engaging content that non-technical audiences understand and share
Design professional, on-brand graphics using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva Pro, CorelDRAW, or equivalent
Produce social media templates, banners, flyers, proposal decks, and promotional materials that reflect the company's brand identity
Edit talking-head videos, drone footage, product installation clips, and customer testimonials to a high cinematic standard
Use colour grading, transitions, motion graphics, text overlays, sound design, and cinematic effects to elevate raw footage
Produce short-form viral reels (15–60 sec) for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
Edit long-form YouTube content (3–15 min) with chapters, B-roll, graphics, and professional pacing
Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, RunwayML, etc.) to speed up content production without compromising quality.
Automate scheduling, reporting, and repetitive workflows using social media management platforms and automation tools
Track, analyse, and report on key metrics: reach, impressions, engagement rate, follower growth, click-through rate, and lead volume
Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations
Use platform analytics (Meta Insights, YouTube Studio, LinkedIn Analytics, Google My Business Insights) to refine strategy
Run A/B tests on content types, captions, and posting times to continuously improve performance
Handle all inbound DMs and comment enquiries professionally and promptly, with the goal of qualifying leads and booking consultations
Manage and grow WhatsApp broadcast lists and status content as a supplementary channel
General Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mass Communication, Marketing, Digital Media, Design, or a related field
Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience managing social media accounts and creating content for a brand, agency, or business
Demonstrable portfolio of content created across multiple platforms (essential — must be presented at interview)
Prior experience in an energy, tech, real estate, or product-based company is an advantage
Technical Skills (Must-Have):
Graphic Design: Canva Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW (proficiency in at least two)
Video Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro (proficiency in at least two)
Scheduling Tools: Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, or Later
Analytics: Native platform dashboards (Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google My Business)
AI Tools: Familiarity with AI content and automation tools is a strong advantage
Photography: Basic smartphone and DSLR photography skills for product and lifestyle shoots
Copywriting: Ability to write punchy, persuasive, and platform-appropriate copy in English
