Job Title: General Manager

Summary

• The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, with a strong focus on revenue generation, client acquisition, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the company in alignment with Board objectives.
• Oversee construction and engineering operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
• Drive business growth through effective bid management, contract negotiation, and client acquisition.
• Maintain strong financial performance by increasing revenue, managing costs, and overseeing profitability.
• Lead and manage teams, fostering a culture of high performance and safety.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Manage key client and stakeholder relationships, representing the company at senior levels.
• Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and project-related risks.

Person Specifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a sales industry-related role.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior leadership role
• Experience within the manufacturing sector will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in people and business management.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
• Proven experience in managing high-value client relationships, especially within the High Net-Worth Individual (HNI) segment.
