We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Officer

Location: Wuse, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and software.
• Develop, maintain, and update the Company website, online portal, and web applications; and manage C-panel.
• Manage hosting accounts, domains, and email systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website and online portal issues.
• Keep up with the latest web development and SEO trends.
• Implement cybersecurity measures and ensure data protection compliance.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
• Develop internal software tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain backups and disaster recovery systems.
• Provide IT training and support documentation for staff.
• Develop and maintain responsive, SEO-optimized websites.
• Implement technical SEO best practices, including site speed optimization and structured data.
• Work with marketing and content teams to ensure seamless website performance.
• Ensure security of IT systems, including data backup, antivirus protection, and access controls.
• Manage and monitor network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Assist in planning and executing IT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and installations.
• Document IT systems, configurations, and procedures for knowledge sharing and training.

Requirements & Competencies

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in an ICT role.
• Familiarity with operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
• Proven experience in IT support or administration.
• Strong knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, or similar).
• Experience in database management (MySQL or equivalent).
• Familiarity with network administration and cybersecurity practices.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and web performance optimization.

Salary
N180,000 - N250,000 monthly.
