Job Description

• We are seeking a qualified, enthusiastic, and dedicated Agricultural Science/Horticulture / Crop Science Teacher to join our secondary school team.
• The ideal candidate will deliver engaging lessons, promote practical skills in horticulture and crop production, and oversee our school's agricultural projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in agricultural science, with a focus on crop science, horticulture, and soil science.
• Promote practical skills and inspire students to appreciate agriculture as both a science and a livelihood.
• Manage school garden projects, greenhouse, or school farm activities.
• Prepare students for external examinations (WAEC/NECO/IGCSE etc).
• The teacher will work with department members, teachers and school leaders to create instructional resources and build skills with students across the classrooms, provide lesson plans and collaborate with teachers on creating a learning environment where every student can reach their maximum potential

Requirements

• B.S.c / B.Ed in Agricultural Science/Horticulture/Crop Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of teaching experience in a similar role.
• Strong practical knowledge and skills in crop production.
• Passionate about teaching and able to demonstrate a genuine care for young children.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
