Job Title: Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor

Location: Anthony, Lagos

Job Summary

• A housekeeping supervisor oversees cleaning and maintenance operations in places like hotels, hospitals, offices, and residential facilities.
• Their main role is to ensure cleanliness, safety, hygiene standards, and efficient staff performance.

Key Roles and Responsibilities of a Housekeeping Supervisor
Supervise housekeeping staff:

• Assign daily duties
• Monitor attendance and punctuality
• Train new employees on cleaning procedures and safety standards

Inspect rooms and facilities:

• Check guest rooms, offices, corridors, restrooms, and public areas for cleanliness
• Ensure standards are maintained consistently

Manage cleaning supplies and equipment:

• Monitor inventory of detergents, linens, toiletries, and tools
• Request replacements when stock is low

Ensure health and safety compliance:

• Enforce hygiene and sanitation procedures
• Make sure staff use equipment safely and wear protective gear when needed

Handle guest or client complaints:

• Respond quickly to complaints about cleanliness or maintenance
• Coordinate corrective action

Prepare schedules and reports:

• Create staff duty rosters
• Keep records of inspections, lost items, maintenance issues, and staff performance

Coordinate with other departments;

• Work with maintenance, front office, laundry, or management teams to solve issues efficiently.

Salary
N90,000 per month.
